The role is organisational and involves midweek communication with players/parents, ensuring that everyone knows where to be and when on game day. The team manager will liaise with the coach(es) where issues arise.

On game day itself (Saturday morning/lunchtime), the team manager will look after the team, checking arrivals, supplying kit, putting the official team list together, and generally making sure that the coach(es) can focus on the game itself. Post-game, the team manager is responsible for the collection of kit. Alongside the coach(es), the team manager is responsible for how the team looks and behaves, including being respectful of rules and codes of conduct.

This is an important position and would suit someone wanting to support a growing Rugby League Club in North Essex. You will get closely involved with a great bunch of lads, parents and coaching staff as the team pushes for honours. The season runs May-July.
